My name is Rayna Karoll Druck (although I almost exclusively use my maiden name) and I’m so excited to be Mom of the Month for October!

I was born in the Chicago suburbs but moved to Long Island (NY) when I was 5, so that’s what I consider “home.” I went to undergrad and dental school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. I moved to San Diego 12 years ago for pediatric dental residency and never left! I love being a pediatric dentist and say that it lets me act like a 5 year old all day (cue singing Moana and Frozen).

I met my husband, Ariel, in 2016 on JSwipe (aka Jewish tinder) - our first date was at a beer festival! He jokes that his timing was good because he was living in Long Beach and I had “swiped” on all of the Jewish guys in San Diego, so when I saw someone new, I swiped right. We dated long distance until after we got engaged and then thankfully he moved down here! We got married in 2018 in Coronado. We always joked that it was a destination wedding for everyone except the bride and groom.

We have a COVID puppy named Stella who is sweet as can be and is the best dog ever, as long as her leash isn’t on. We love to travel and eat out and do so at every chance we get! Our daughter, Arni just turned 1! She has been brewery hopping since she was 3 weeks old and her first flight was at 4 weeks old! To date she has flown over 43k miles!!

I joined FIT4MOM because it allows me to workout with Arni and stayed for the awesome community of moms!!
