Hello Mamas! I am so excited to have been selected ‘Mom of the Month’ for May (the month of mama!) and would love to share a little bit more about myself with you…

I grew up in Pacific Beach and have lived in sunny San Diego my entire life. I went to SDSU and spent all four years as a member of the crew team rowing competitively in big events like the Crew Classic right here on Mission Bay!

I met my husband (who grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii) through a mutual friend in 2011 and four years later he proposed to me at Machu Picchu in Peru. We had a beautiful wedding in Palm Springs in 2017.

We were blessed with our daughter Rayna in August of 2021 and when she was about a year old, a neighbor in Talmadge suggested I come with her to a FIT4MOM class at Balboa Park. Up until that point, I hadn’t even realized how much I had been craving a daily routine and camaraderie in motherhood.

I ended up connecting with so many amazing women that I wanted to spend even more time with. I found myself scheduling play dates, mom’s night outs and even started my own book club!

Shortly after Rayna went off to preschool, we welcomed a baby girl named Sunny in October of 2024!

My favorite thing about FIT4MOM BPCPL is that they meet you exactly where you are at. Just happy you made it to class? Feeling energetic and want to run? Need someone to talk to about how many times your kid woke up last night? This community has you covered!

Some of my hobbies include reading, bike riding, going to concerts, the beach, Disneyland & Hawaii!
